How the Summer Academy Works
Orientation Day – July 9th 2026
Orientation Day is a mandatory on-campus session at St. John’s University designed to welcome learners and families, review program expectations, complete check-in procedures, and introduce participants to the immersive VR/AI learning environment. Learners will meet facilitators, receive program materials, review safety guidelines, and gain an overview of their upcoming cohort experience.

From the moment learners arrive to the time they leave, every part of the day is structured to build real-world skills, confidence, and career exposure through immersive learning.

Continued Learning Phase
Following the two-week on-campus immersion, learners continue with structured AI-supported instruction and guided practice offsite. Enrollment includes extended access to the immersive curriculum, career simulations, and AI tutoring tools for up to one year, allowing participants to reinforce skills, revisit modules, practice interview scenarios, and continue progressing along their personalized career pathway beyond the summer session. This extended access ensures learning does not end after two weeks it evolves into sustained development, reinforcement, and career readiness training throughout the year.
The onboarding phase does not represent the full duration of the Academy.
